Sec. § 29.9021
Water Safety Education


The agency by rule shall incorporate a curriculum module on recreational water safety into driver education instruction using the video on recreational water safety produced under Section 12.012 (Recreational Water Safety Video), Parks and Wildlife Code, when the agency is notified that the video is available.

Sec. 29.903. CARDIOPULMONARY RESUSCITATION (CPR) INSTRUCTION; DONATIONS TO SCHOOL DISTRICTS FOR USE IN CPR INSTRUCTION. (a) A school district may accept from the agency donations the agency receives under Section 7.026 for use in providing instruction to students in the principles and techniques of CPR. A district may accept other donations, including donations of equipment, for use in providing the instruction.

(c)

A district may use resources other than those made available under Section 7.026 or this section to provide instruction to students in the principles and techniques of CPR.

(d)

The commissioner may adopt rules as necessary to implement this section.
