Sec. § 92.168
Tenant’s Remedy on Notice From Management Company

The tenant may unilaterally terminate the lease or exercise other remedies under Sections 92.164 (Tenant Remedies for Landlord’s Failure to Install or Rekey Certain Security Devices) and 92.165 (Tenant Remedies for Other Landlord Violations) after receiving written notice from a management company that the owner of the dwelling has not provided or will not provide funds to repair, install, change, replace, or rekey a security device as required by this subchapter.
