Sec. § 6.503
Affidavit, Verified Pleading, and Bond Not Required

A temporary restraining order or temporary injunction under this subchapter:

may be granted without an affidavit or a verified pleading stating specific facts showing that immediate and irreparable injury, loss, or damage will result before notice can be served and a hearing can be held; and

need not:

define the injury or state why it is irreparable;

state why the order was granted without notice; or

include an order setting the suit for trial on the merits with respect to the ultimate relief sought.

In a suit for dissolution of a marriage, the court may dispense with the issuance of a bond between the spouses in connection with temporary orders for the protection of the parties and their property.
