Tex. Occ. Code Section 602.205
Temporary License


The medical board may issue a temporary license to an applicant who has satisfied the educational requirements for a license but who has not yet completed the experience and examination requirements of Section 602.207 (Eligibility for Examination). A temporary license is valid for one year from the date of issuance.
