Tex. Agric. Code Section 148.069
Purchase of Slaughtered Cattle Without Hide or Ears

(a)

A person commits an offense if the person purchases slaughtered cattle in violation of Section 148.045 (Purchase of Slaughtered Cattle Without Hide or Ears) of this code.

(b)

An offense under this section is a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of not less than $50 nor more than $200.
