Sec. § 62.317
Provisions Governing Commission


Each commissioner appointed under Section 62.314 (Additional Commission Members) or 62.316 (Permanent Commission Organization Following Annexation) of this code shall be an elector of the district and shall serve his full term and until his successor is elected and has qualified unless sooner removed by the authority which appointed him for malfeasance or nonfeasance in office.


Each commissioner shall execute a bond, take the oath, and have the powers and duties prescribed by the law applicable to the annexing district at the time of the annexation.


Each commissioner is entitled to receive the compensation determined by the board.


The commission, by majority vote, may execute all contracts and take all actions relating to governing the district.
