(a)

(b)

For purposes of Section 51.252 (Complaints), the commission must adopt rules to provide for the release of any relevant midwifery or medical record to the department, without the necessity of consent by the midwife’s client, as necessary to conduct an investigation of a complaint.

(c)

(d)

The department shall provide reasonable assistance to a person who wishes to file a complaint with the department regarding a person or activity regulated by this chapter.
