Commission Approval Required

(a)

All concession, management, and totalisator contracts submitted by an applicant under Section 2025.054 (Management, Concession, and Totalisator Contracts) must have the prior approval of the commission.

(b)

The commission shall refuse to approve a concession or management contract if, in the sole discretion of the commission, the background checks conducted under Section 2025.056 (Background Check) reveal anything that might be detrimental to the public interest or the racing industry.
