Management Contract: Requirements and Limitations

(a)

A person awarded a management contract to operate a racetrack must meet all of the requirements for a license under Sections 2025.101 (License Eligibility Requirements and Limitations) and 2025.201 (Grounds for Denial, Revocation, or Suspension of Racetrack License).

(b)

The commission may not approve a management contract to operate or manage a racetrack owned by a governmental entity unless the racetrack license holder is an owner of the entity that proposes to manage the racetrack.
