Tex. Educ. Code Section 13.153
Election Order; Notice


(a)

Each board of trustees shall:

(1)

issue an order for an election to be held on the same day in each district included in the proposed consolidated district; and

(2)

give notice of the election.

(b)

If no local consolidation agreement is submitted under Section 13.158 (Local Consolidation Agreement), the ballot in the election shall be printed to permit voting for or against the proposition: “Consolidation of (name of school districts) into a single school district.”

(c)

If a local consolidation agreement is submitted under Section 13.158 (Local Consolidation Agreement), the ballot in the election shall be printed to permit voting for or against the proposition: “Consolidation of (name of school districts) into a single school district under a local consolidation agreement.”
