Tex. Bus. & Com. Code Section 17.56
Venue

Except as provided by Article 5.06-1(8), Insurance Code, an action brought which alleges a claim to relief under Section 17.50 (Relief for Consumers) of this subchapter shall be brought as provided by Chapter 15 (Venue), Civil Practice and Remedies Code.

in any county in which venue is proper under Chapter 15 (Venue), Civil Practice and Remedies Code; or

(2)

in a county in which the defendant or an authorized agent of the defendant solicited the transaction made the subject of the action at bar.
