Official Roster
(a)
The department may prepare and publish a roster showing the name and address, as reflected by the department’s records, of each chemical dependency counselor.(b)
If the department publishes a roster under this section, the department shall mail a copy of the roster to each person licensed by the department and shall file a copy of the roster with the secretary of state.(c)
A person’s name and address may appear in the roster only if each fee assessed against the person under this chapter is current and paid in full at the time the roster is sent to the printer or publisher.(d)
The department may charge a fee in an amount set by the executive commissioner by rule for the roster published under this section.(e)
The department may not include the home address of a person licensed by the department in a roster the department publishes on the department’s Internet website unless the person requests that the person’s home address appear in the roster on the website. A request under this subsection must be made in the manner prescribed by the department.(f)
The home address of a person licensed under this chapter that is included in a roster the department prepares under this section is public information and is not excepted from required disclosure under Chapter 552 (Public Information), Government Code.
