A person may not practice as a marriage and family therapist unless the person holds a license under this chapter or is exempt under Section 502.004 (Application of Chapter).
(b)
A person may not use the title “licensed marriage and family therapist” or “licensed marriage and family therapist associate,” as appropriate, unless the person is licensed under this chapter.
(c)
A person may not use a title that implies that the person is licensed or certified in marriage and family therapy unless the person is:
(1)
licensed under this chapter; or
(2)
