Tex. Occ. Code Section 501.057
Officers; Meetings


(a)

The governor shall designate a member of the board as the presiding officer of the board to serve in that capacity at the pleasure of the governor. The board shall hold an annual meeting during which the board shall select from its members an assistant presiding officer.

(b)

The board may hold other regular meetings as provided by board rule. The board shall hold meetings at least twice each year. Special meetings may be called as necessary or by a majority of the board members.

(c)

The board shall give reasonable notice of all meetings in the manner provided by board rule.
