Terms; Vacancy


(a)

Members of the board serve staggered six-year terms, with the terms of three members expiring October 31 of each odd-numbered year.

(b)

A member who is appointed for a term of less than six years may be reappointed to one successive full six-year term. A member who is appointed for a full six-year term may not be reappointed for the six years following the expiration of the member’s term.

(c)

If a vacancy occurs during a member’s term, the governor shall appoint a replacement to fill the unexpired term.
