Additional Fees


(a)

In addition to any other fees required by this chapter, an applicant entitled to receive a license under this chapter must pay a fee before the department issues the license.

(b)

If the balance in the fund on August 31 of a year is less than $350,000, each license holder at the next license renewal shall pay, in addition to the renewal fee, a fee that is equal to the greater of $50 or a pro rata share of the amount necessary to obtain a balance in the fund of $350,000.

(c)

The fees paid under this section shall be deposited in the fund.
