Tex. Occ. Code Section 1802.121
Written Contracts


(a)

An auctioneer who agrees to provide services to a person shall provide to the person a written contract with the terms of the agreement.

(b)

Each contract for the services of an auctioneer must include information required by the commission by rule.

(c)

Before any auction, the auctioneer and client must agree in writing to an itemized inventory of property to be sold or offered for sale by the auctioneer at auction. An amendment to the inventory must be in writing and signed by both parties.
