Tex. Occ. Code Section 1152.251
Disciplinary Powers of Commission

After a hearing, the commission may deny a certificate of registration and may impose an administrative sanction or penalty and seek injunctive relief and a civil penalty against a registrant as provided by Chapter 51 (Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation) for:


a violation of this chapter or a rule applicable to the registrant adopted by the commission under this chapter;


gross incompetency in the performance of property tax consulting services;


dishonesty or fraud committed while performing property tax consulting services; or


a violation of the standards of ethics adopted by the commission.
