Tex. Labor Code Section 411.081
Telephone Hotline


(a)

The division shall maintain a 24-hour toll-free telephone service in English and Spanish for reports of violations of occupational health or safety law.

(b)

Each employer shall notify its employees of this service in a manner prescribed by the commissioner. The commissioner shall, by rule, require the notice to be posted in English and Spanish, as appropriate.

(c)

The commissioner shall adopt rules requiring that the notice required by Subsection (b) be posted:

(1)

in a conspicuous place in the employer’s place of business; and

(2)

in sufficient locations to be convenient to all employees.
