Tex. Ins. Code Section 6001.301
Criminal Penalty

(a)

A person commits an offense if the person knowingly violates Section 6001.251 (Prohibited Practices)(a).

(b)

An offense under this section is a Class B misdemeanor.

(c)

Venue for an offense under this section is in Travis County or the county in which the offense is committed.
