Disciplinary Hearing


(a)

If the state fire marshal proposes to suspend, revoke, or refuse to renew a license, permit, certificate, or approval issued under this chapter, the holder of the license, permit, certificate, or approval is entitled to a hearing conducted by the State Office of Administrative Hearings.

(b)

Proceedings for a disciplinary action are governed by Chapter 2001 (Administrative Procedure), Government Code.

(c)

Rules of practice adopted by the commissioner applicable to the proceedings for a disciplinary action may not conflict with rules adopted by the State Office of Administrative Hearings.
