Texas Health and Safety Code Section 534.116

Sec. § 534.116
Contract Renewal

The executive commissioner may refuse to renew a contract with a local intellectual and developmental disability authority and may select other agencies, entities, or organizations to be the local intellectual and developmental disability authority if the department’s evaluation of the authority’s performance under Section 534.109 (Contract Compliance for Local Authorities) indicates that the authority cannot ensure the availability of the specific services to priority populations required by the department and this subtitle.
