Tex. Health & Safety Code Section 282.048
Authority to Sue and Be Sued; District Liability


(a)

The board may sue and be sued on behalf of the district.

(b)

A suit against the district must be brought in the county in which the district is located.

(c)

The district is not liable for negligence for an act of a district officer, agent, or employee.
