Tex. Fin. Code Section 180.251
General Duties of Regulatory Officials


(a)

The savings and mortgage lending commissioner shall administer and enforce this chapter with respect to individuals licensed under Chapter 157 (Mortgage Bankers and Residential Mortgage Loan Originators).

(b)

Repealed by Acts 2013, 83rd Leg., R.S., Ch. 160, Sec. 87(9), eff. September 1, 2013.

(c)

The consumer credit commissioner shall administer and enforce this chapter with respect to individuals licensed under Chapter 342 (Consumer Loans), 347 (Manufactured Home Credit Transactions), 348 (Motor Vehicle Installment Sales), or 351 (Property Tax Lenders).

(d)

To the extent permitted or required by this chapter and as reasonably necessary for the implementation and enforcement of the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act, the banking commissioner of Texas may administer and enforce this chapter with respect to a person otherwise under the commissioner’s jurisdiction under Subtitle A, F, or G of this title.
