Tex. Fin. Code Section 180.203
Cease and Desist Orders


A regulatory official may:

(1)

order or direct a person subject to regulation under this chapter to cease and desist from conducting business, including issuing an immediate temporary order to cease and desist from conducting business;

(2)

order or direct a person subject to regulation under this chapter to cease a violation of this chapter or a harmful activity in violation of this chapter, including issuing an immediate temporary order to cease and desist;

(3)

enter immediate temporary orders against a person subject to regulation under this chapter to cease engaging in business under a license if the regulatory official determines that the license was erroneously granted or the license holder is in violation of this chapter; and

(4)

order or direct other affirmative action as the regulatory official considers necessary.
