Tex. Fam. Code Section 101.0015
Alleged Father


(a)

“Alleged father” means a man who alleges himself to be, or is alleged to be, the genetic father or a possible genetic father of a child, but whose paternity has not been determined.

(b)

The term does not include:

(1)

a presumed father;

(2)

a man whose parental rights have been terminated or declared to not exist; or

(3)

a male donor.
