Tex. Election Code Section 172.1111
Posting Notice of Conventions Required


(a)

Before the opening of the polls during the early voting period and on election day, the presiding judge shall post at each outside door through which a voter may enter the building in which the polling place is located a written notice in bold print of the date, hour, and place for each precinct, county, senatorial, or state convention that a voter in the precinct may be eligible to attend during the election year.

(b)

Notice posted under this section may include:

(1)

the website of the county party and state party; and

(2)

any other information deemed necessary by the state executive committee.

(b-1)

The state chair shall develop a form for the notice that may be used statewide. The judge is not required to use an officially prescribed form for the notice, but must include any information required by this section.

(b-2)

A state chair, county chair, or precinct chair shall provide the presiding judge with the necessary information respecting the chair’s associated convention.

(c)

The notice must remain posted continuously through the early voting period and on election day.
