Procedures Applicable to Parent Contributing to Nonattendance Offense

In a proceeding based on a complaint under Section 25.093 (Parent Contributing to Nonattendance), the court shall, except as otherwise provided by this chapter, use the procedures and exercise the powers authorized by Chapter 45 (Justice and Municipal Courts), Code of Criminal Procedure.

Sec. 25.111. STUDENT/TEACHER RATIOS. Except as provided by Section 25.112 (Class Size), each school district must employ a sufficient number of teachers certified under Subchapter B (Purpose), Chapter 21 (Educators), to maintain an average ratio of not less than one teacher for each 20 students in average daily attendance.
