Sec. § 1001.251
License Required for Instructor


(a)

A person may not teach or provide driver education, either as an individual or in a driver education school, or conduct any phase of driver education, unless the person holds a driver education instructor license issued by the executive director.

(b)

A person may not teach or provide driving safety training, either as an individual or in a driving safety school, or conduct any phase of driving safety education, unless the person holds a driving safety instructor license issued by the executive director. This subsection does not apply to an instructor of a driving safety course that does not provide a uniform certificate of course completion to its graduates.
