Tex. Agric. Code Section 78.061
Petition for Dissolution


(a)

The eligible voters residing in a district may petition the board to conduct an election on the dissolution of the district.

(b)

The petition must contain the signatures of 50 eligible voters or of a majority of the eligible voters in the district, whichever is the lesser number.
