Bond Election

(a)

Bonds issued under this chapter that are payable from ad valorem taxes must be approved at an election held as provided by Chapters 284 (Causeways, Bridges, Tunnels, Turnpikes, Ferries, and Highways in Certain Counties) and 441 (Road Utility Districts).

(b)

An election is not necessary for the issuance of bonds under this chapter, including refunding bonds, payable only from district revenues.
