Tex. Spec. Dist. Local Laws Code Section 8878.052
Eligibility to Serve as Director


To be eligible to serve as a director of the authority or to be listed as provided by Section 8878.056 (Method of Appointment of Directors) on a ballot as a candidate for director of the authority representing a director precinct, an individual must:

(1)

be at least 18 years of age;

(2)

be a resident of the authority; and

(3)

have served as a director of one or more districts or as a member of the governing body of a municipality within the authority for a total of at least four years.
