Public Improvement District Assessments


An assessment levied in the district for a public improvement district under Subchapter A (Short Title), Chapter 372 (Improvement Districts in Municipalities and Counties), Local Government Code, or Chapter 382 (Improvement Projects in Certain Counties), Local Government Code, may be used only under the terms for which the assessment was levied. Money raised by an assessment in the public improvement district under that chapter must be used in the public improvement district, and may not be transferred for use outside the area for which the assessment was originally levied.
