Tex. Spec. Dist. Local Laws Code Section 11002.205
Assessments; Municipal Management District Powers

Except as provided by Section 11002.206 (Electric Utility Property Exempt from Impact Fees and Assessments), the district may levy and collect special assessments in the same manner and for the same purposes as a municipal management district as provided in Subchapter F, Chapter 375 (Municipal Management Districts in General), Local Government Code.
