Tex. Spec. Dist. Local Laws Code Section 1041.152
Proposed Budget: Notice and Hearing

(a)

The board shall hold a public hearing on the proposed budget.

(b)

Notice of the hearing must be published at least once in a newspaper of general circulation in the district not later than the 10th day before the date of the hearing.

(c)

Any district resident is entitled to:

(1)

appear at the time and place designated in the notice; and

(2)

be heard regarding any item included in the proposed budget.
