Legal Counsel


(a)

The attorneys who represent the City of Amarillo in civil matters may represent the board in all legal matters.

(b)

The district shall contribute sufficient money to the City of Amarillo’s account designated for the attorneys of the city to pay all additional salaries and expenses incurred by the attorneys in performing the duties required by the district.

(c)

The board may employ legal counsel selected by the board if the board considers the employment advisable.
