Tex. Prop. Code Section 76.603
Audit; Budget

The unclaimed money fund is subject to:

(1)

audit by the auditor of the holder or an independent auditor if the holder does not have an auditor; and

(2)

budgetary procedures adopted by the governing body of the holder.
