Tex. Occ. Code Section 58.105
Civil Penalty


(a)

A person who discloses genetic information in violation of Sections 58.102-58.104 is liable for a civil penalty not to exceed $10,000.

(b)

The attorney general may bring an action in the name of the state to recover a civil penalty under this section, plus reasonable attorney’s fees and court costs.
