Tex. Occ. Code Section 402.251
Temporary Training Permit Qualifications

(a)

The department shall issue a temporary training permit to a person who:

(1)

possesses the qualifications required under Section 402.203 (Application for Examination)(a);

(2)

submits a written application on a form prescribed by the department furnishing documentation that the applicant satisfies the requirements of Subdivision (1); and

(3)

pays any required fee.

(b)

The commission by rule may provide for the issuance of a new temporary training permit under this section after a person’s temporary training permit expires.
