Tex. Occ. Code Section 1954.103
Registration Required for Certain Activities

An individual must be registered as an asbestos abatement worker if the individual:

(1)

removes, encapsulates, encloses, loads, or unloads asbestos in the scope of employment; or

(2)

performs maintenance, repair, installation, renovation, or cleaning activities that may dislodge, break, cut, abrade, or impinge on asbestos-containing materials.
