Licensed State Land Surveyor Field Notes

(a)

Official field notes made by a licensed state land surveyor must be signed by the surveyor, followed by the designation “Licensed State Land Surveyor.”

(b)

Field notes and plats prepared by a licensed state land surveyor must conform to Sections 21.041 (Field Notes of a Survey of Public Land) and 21.042 (Surveyor’s Certification), Natural Resources Code.

(c)

Field notes made by a licensed state land surveyor in any county in this state are admissible in evidence.
