Appointment of Certain Persons to Board of Directors Prohibited

(a)

This section does not apply to a relationship governed by Chapter 823 (Insurance Holding Company Systems).

(b)

An insurer may not appoint to the insurer’s board of directors an officer, director, employee, controlling shareholder, or submanager of a manager acting for that insurer.
