Tex. Health & Safety Code Section 93.001
Definitions

In this chapter:

(1)

“Cardiovascular disease” means the group of diseases that target the heart and blood vessels and that are the result of complex interactions between multiple inherited traits and environmental factors.

(2)

“Council” means the Council on Cardiovascular Disease and Stroke.
