Tex. Health & Safety Code Section 141.004
License Application and Issuance


(a)

To obtain a license, a person must submit a license application accompanied by a license fee in an amount set by the executive commissioner by rule.

(b)

On receiving a license application, the department shall inspect the applicant’s facilities, operations, and premises and shall issue a license to each applicant who will operate a youth camp in accordance with this chapter and rules adopted under this chapter.

(c)

The department shall issue serially numbered licenses.
