Appointment of Interpreter


At the time the court appoints the attorney ad litem under Section 1054.001 (Appointment of Attorney Ad Litem in Proceeding for Appointment of Guardian), the court shall appoint a language interpreter or sign interpreter if necessary to ensure effective communication between the proposed ward and the attorney.
