Judges: Reporting of Certain Aliens to Federal Government

A judge shall report to United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement a person who:

(1)

has been convicted of an offense or placed on deferred adjudication community supervision for a felony in the judge’s court; and

(2)

is an illegal criminal alien as defined by Section 493.015 (Identification of Deportable Aliens), Government Code.
