Tex. Civ. Practice & Remedies Code Section 140B.108
Effect of Final Judgment or Decree


A final judgment or decree rendered in favor of this state in a criminal proceeding under state law prevents the defendant from asserting in any subsequent civil action brought under this chapter any matter as to which that judgment or decree would be an estoppel as between the parties.
