Tex. Civ. Practice & Remedies Code Section 129A.004
Inapplicability

(a)

An action filed under this chapter may not be joined with an action filed under Title 1, 4, or 5, Family Code.

(b)

Chapter 27 (Actions Involving the Exercise of Certain Constitutional Rights) does not apply to an action under this chapter.
