Tex. Bus. & Com. Code Section 57.252
Applicability of Subchapter; Conflict with Subchapter

(a)

Sections 57.253 (Warranty Claim), 57.254 (Resubmission of Warranty Claim), and 57.255 (Payment of Warranty Claim) apply to a warranty claim submitted by a dealer who has complied with the supplier’s reasonable policies and procedures for reimbursement of the warranty claim and the claim is a warranted claim under the supplier’s warranty policy.

(b)

A supplier’s warranty reimbursement policies and procedures are considered unreasonable to the extent of any conflict with this subchapter.
