Tex. Agric. Code Section 164.028
Treatment at Expense of County


If a person ordered to treat cattle or sheep under this chapter fails or refuses to treat the animals, the county commissioners court shall:

(1)

provide the necessary equipment and facilities for the treatment of the animals;

(2)

have the animals treated in accordance with this chapter; and

(3)

pay the expenses of the treatment by warrant drawn on the general funds of the county.
